Privacy notice
Version 2026-10. This notice explains what personal data this learning site processes under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who is responsible
The institution running this site is the data fiduciary for your account. Contact: the institution running this site (ask your instructor for the grievance officer's contact).
What we collect
Your username, name and password (stored only as a salted hash); your course progress, notes and quiz, exam and project work; files you upload; questions you ask the tutor; discussion posts; interview practice recordings if you make them; and, only if you choose to, career-outcome answers and a public portfolio.
Why
To run the course: track progress, grade work, give feedback, issue certificates and badges, and support the teaching team. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
AI processing
An AI model hosted by an external provider generates some tutor answers and document feedback; your question or document text is sent to that provider for this purpose only.
How long we keep it
Sign-in sessions end after 7 days. Tutor conversations are deleted after 365 days. Marks and certificates are kept as the academic record for the period the institution's regulations require. Instructor applications are seen only by the site's admins; a rejected application is deleted after 30 days, and an approved one becomes the instructor's account.
Your rights
You can see and download everything we hold about you (Account โ Download my data), correct your name (Account โ Profile), withdraw consent and erase your account (Account โ Delete my account), and raise a grievance with the contact above. If a grievance is not resolved you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected cookies, access is limited by role and cohort, and every request is logged without personal data in the message text.
